Internet Brochure:
For $750 we will create a one-page website from your words… either taken from an existing brochure about your business, or the answers of an intake form we create. Then we’ll sign you up with a web hosting service.

Social Networking as a business development tool:
If you’ve been wondering what “social networking” is, think your business should be participating, we can get you started. For $450 we will ask you a series of questions and create “profiles” for you or your business on the appropriate social networking services, such as Facebook, Plaxo, Twitter, Digg, etc. For some, having this internet presence is enough… at least to satisfy the family and friends. For most, however, this is just the beginning.

Blogs… a new word for bulletin boards:
We can customize a blog for you… and supply the writers to keep it current if you don’t have the time. Blogging has become a very powerful marketing tool. Oftentimes visitors to your blog can say things about you, and your competitors, that might not sound right coming from you. The price of this will vary depending on the complexity of the content and the frequency of the postings. Most blogs are text-oriented, although voice and/or video blogging technologies are also something to consider.

Website Development:
Specialized websites can be developed for you. Once you go beyond the simple one-page splash screen, costs jump. Glue’s two designers both start in the $3-4,000 range for a well-designed, effective website. Most sites do not need to be very fancy, but if your product or service calls for something special, our developers can easily find ways to get the cost substantially higher… they do love to be challenged. Internet commerce websites are a whole other ballgame and can’t really be generalized here.

Search Engine Optimization… getting people to your website:
Having a nicely designed website is great for the ego, but getting people to your website is what pays the bills. Professional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is key. Organic searching is what most people do on Google. Only about 15% of searchers click on the paid sponsored links on search pages. We’ll develop a balance between pay-per-click advertising and the infrastructure-building of ‘organic searching’. The cost of SEO varies widely depending on the complexity of the site and how many unique items are to be indexed so peoples’ searches will find them. Upfront research for SEO can range from $1,000 to $5,000. And because the search engines are constantly changing their ranking criteria, you’ll need to budget monthly upkeep fees, ranging from $500 per month for simple sites to thousands per month for complex sites.

Windows to Mac conversion
For those of you tired of listening to your kids telling you… we offer a basic service to help you transition from the PC to a Macintosh. For $250 we can advise you on what you’ll need and what to expect and get you started with recommendations on software. We’re also available to sync your Mac at home with your PC at work… yes we realize that many businesses are still stuck running Windows. Oy.
